Announcements
*** The 2022 tax bills have been mailed. In a few rare cases, a software problem during the import of the tax roll resulted in multiple addresses on certain tax bills. The Treasurer's office is researching the affected tax bills and correcting the addresses. We anticipate mailing the corrected tax bills during the week of October 3, 2022. If you have questions, please contact our office. ***
The deadline for payment of the first half of property taxes is November 10, 2022. Penalties and interest on the first half will begin to accrue after that. Accrued penalties and interest will be forgiven on the first half if the entire tax bill is paid in full by December 31, 2022. The second half of property taxes are due May 10, 2023.
WE'RE HIRING! Please see the Employment Opportunities page of the Fremont County Government website for more details on our open positions.
